Eric Minden

Owner & Operator

Eric Minden is a technician and musician who has been working in the technical side of the music industry for over 15 years. Eric’s entrepreneurial approach involves caring for minute details in order to serve a higher vision of excellence and ease. While Eric’s capacity for analysis and nerdiness surrounding the ins and outs of audio tech is not unique, his kind and communicative personality set him apart in the industry.

Eric is driven by a love of music and a vision for the future of live events that values excellence, accessibility, and equity. Eric’s earliest exposures to music were through his father’s jazz and motown records, and by his mother seated at her piano. A drummer first, he grew up playing jazz and orchestral music in the school band before delving into the realms of indie rock, punk, alternative and metal. He cut his teeth as a sound technician and multi-instrumentalist in several rock, funk, acoustic, punk jazz, and musical theatre outfits in his hometown of Hamilton, Ontario. He completed a Honours Bachelor of Commerce and minor in Computer Science at McMaster University in Hamilton before giving in to his lifelong passion for music and technology. This journey took him briefly to Vancouver before landing him in Calgary in 2015.

Eric owns and operates Minden Productions and his primary musical outlet is playing in the indie rock outfit Peach Panic. Eric also performs and records with Natalie Inga & The LadyBros, Deicha & The Vududes, and freelances with other musical projects.

Natalie Inga Gauthier

Operations & Technician

Natalie Inga Gauthier is Executive Assistant to Eric Minden. She’s a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, voice coach, and budding sound technician.

Natalie has been a “Jill of all trades” her whole life, (this forced a new policy in her high school that prevented members of the women’s rugby team from participating in the after-school choir). Her post-secondary studies were in theatre, and although she majored in performance, the immersive conservatory-style program included production practicums in all technical departments, and set her on the course to begin working as a stagehand and in event technical services alongside her performance career.

Natalie and Eric first worked together in 2015 when they were both new to Calgary, where they discovered they had a lot in common, including value system, work ethic, and sense of humour. They have since worked together in a number of capacities as musicians, technicians, and friends. Natalie joined the Minden Productions team in 2023 to assist with growing the capacity of the business to meet the demands and standards of Calgary’s thriving arts community.

Natalie fronts her own original project (Natalie Inga & The LadyBros), with Eric supporting on bass. She also supports L’omelette, Deicha & The Vududes, Joe Vickers, The Fermented Beet Orchestra & more on vocals, saxophones, guitar, and some keys.
